Sharing a health record with someone who needs it should take seconds, not minutes. The redesigned record sharing flow in Looms reduces it to exactly that: three taps from any screen, and the right person has the right document.
The new sharing flow
Tap the share icon on any document. Select who you want to share with — a connected clinic, a family member, your emergency contact, or a new recipient via a secure link. Choose the access duration — view once, view for 24 hours, view for 7 days or view indefinitely. Done.
The recipient receives a notification with a secure link. No app download required for recipients who aren't Looms users.
Audit trail
Every sharing event is logged in your account activity. You can see who has viewed a shared document, when they viewed it and from which device. Viewing by a recipient does not affect your copy of the document — they see a verified copy, not the original.
Revoking access
Any sharing permission can be revoked instantly from your sharing history. If you shared a document with a seven-day access window and need to revoke it on day two, the recipient's link stops working immediately.
