Health data lock-in is a real phenomenon. Patients store years of records on a platform and then feel unable to leave because taking their data with them is too difficult. Looms' commitment is explicit and unconditional: your data is yours, and you can take all of it with you at any time.
What you can export
The Looms data export includes everything in your account: all uploaded and issued medical records, your complete vitals history, your full medication list and adherence history, your appointment history with consultation notes, your lab results and AI analyses, and your Emergency Card data.
The export is delivered as a structured ZIP file containing both human-readable PDFs and machine-readable JSON — making it usable by any future platform you choose.
How to export
Go to Account Settings, select 'Export my data' and choose the data types you want to include. The export is prepared within 24 hours and delivered to your registered email address as a secure download link. There is no fee and no limit on the number of times you can export.
Account deletion
If you close your Looms account, all your data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days, in accordance with our retention policy. We recommend downloading your export before closing your account.
