Doctors can issue a sick leave certificate directly from a patient's consultation record in Looms. The certificate is generated from a configurable template, pre-filled with the patient's details and the approved leave period, and issued with a QR verification code. The entire process takes under 30 seconds.
For patients
Issued sick leave certificates appear immediately in the patient's Looms account under their Documents section. The patient can share the certificate directly with their employer via a secure link or download a PDF for submission. The QR code on each certificate allows employers to verify its authenticity without contacting the clinic.
Upload your own
Patients who receive a paper sick leave certificate from a provider outside the Looms network can upload it to their account in the Records section. Uploaded certificates are stored securely alongside issued certificates, creating a complete sick leave history in one place.
