Looms has raised $18 million in Series A funding led by a consortium of regional and international investors, with participation from existing seed investors. The round will be used to expand our engineering and AI teams, accelerate clinic onboarding across the GCC and begin our expansion into new markets.
What the funding enables
Healthcare record management in the Middle East is undergoing a fundamental shift — from paper to verified digital. Looms is at the centre of that transition, connecting patients and providers on a single platform where every document is authenticated, every result is understood and every appointment is connected to the patient's full history.
The Series A will accelerate three priorities:
- Deepening AI capabilities for lab analysis, radiology report interpretation and predictive health insights
- Expanding clinic onboarding from the UAE into Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait
- Building the team from 45 to over 120 people across engineering, clinical and commercial roles
A message from our CEO
"We started Looms with a simple belief: patients deserve to own their health data, and providers deserve tools that make sharing it seamless. The response from patients and clinics has validated that belief beyond what we expected."
"This funding lets us move faster, build more and reach more people. We're grateful to our investors and to the thousands of patients and clinics who have trusted us with their most sensitive data."
What stays the same
Looms remains free for individual patients. Clinic plans continue on the same transparent pricing. The focus remains on building the best connected health record platform in the region — not on growth at the expense of product quality or patient trust.
