What the wizard covers
The five-step onboarding wizard takes new patients through the actions that unlock the most value in Looms: setting up their health profile, connecting their first clinic, uploading their first health record, adding their current medications and enabling Emergency Card access.
Each step takes under two minutes. The wizard skips steps that aren't relevant — a patient without any current medications doesn't see the medication setup step.
Results
Since launching the wizard, our onboarding completion rate has risen from 60% to 88%. More importantly, patients who complete the wizard upload three times as many records in their first month as those who don't — a strong signal that the wizard is creating genuine engagement rather than just completing a checklist.
Always accessible
The wizard is available at any time from the account settings menu, not just at first sign-up. Patients who skipped steps during their initial setup can return to complete them when they're ready.
