Looms has signed integration agreements with four major hospital groups operating across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The partnerships will connect the health records of more than three million patients to the Looms platform, giving them a single, verified digital record regardless of where they received care.

The partner networks

The four groups span a combined 38 facilities across the GCC and include both public and private hospital operators. While the full list will be announced at a joint press event next month, the networks collectively represent a significant proportion of specialist and tertiary care across the region.

What integration means for patients

When a hospital is integrated with Looms, records created during a patient's visit — discharge summaries, lab results, radiology reports, prescriptions — are issued directly into the patient's Looms account. The patient does not need to request copies or carry paper documents between providers.

  • Records appear in the patient's account automatically after each visit
  • Documents are QR-verified and tamper-evident
  • Patients can share any record securely with another provider in seconds
  • AI analysis is available on lab results and radiology reports

A step toward connected care

Healthcare across the GCC has long been fragmented. A patient seeing a specialist in Abu Dhabi may have no easy way to share records from a clinic in Riyadh. These integrations are a step toward a regional model where the patient — not the institution — is the custodian of their own health data.

"The goal is a health record that travels with the patient across every border and every provider," said Dr. Lina Haddad, Looms Chief Medical Officer. "These partnerships bring that goal meaningfully closer."

Timeline

The first integrations will go live for patients in Q3 2026, with the remaining facilities following in Q4. Patients at partner hospitals will receive an in-app notification when their facility goes live.
