Looms has four founders, and we're introducing them today. The team has been working together for two years — one year in research and design, one year building — before today's public launch. Here's who we are and why we started this.
Tariq Al-Mansouri, CEO
Tariq spent 10 years building financial services platforms in London and Dubai before the personal experience of navigating his father's medical emergency without accessible records drove him to start Looms. He leads strategy, commercial partnerships and fundraising.
Dr. Rania Khalil, Chief Product Officer
Rania is a former emergency medicine physician who left clinical practice to build health technology. She brings direct clinical experience to every product decision and leads the product and design teams. She is the reason Looms is actually useful to patients, not just technically impressive.
Samer Abou-Rjeili, CTO
Samer has spent 15 years building security-critical software, most recently as a principal engineer at a global financial platform. He leads engineering and infrastructure and is responsible for the security architecture that protects every record on the platform.
Nour Ibrahim, Chief Operations Officer
Nour's background is in healthcare operations — she spent eight years managing patient services at a major Dubai hospital group before joining Looms. She leads clinic partnerships, onboarding and the patient support operation. Her institutional knowledge of how clinics actually work is invaluable.
