We reached 1,000 registered patients this week. It's a number that would be unremarkable for most consumer apps — but for a health platform that launched six weeks ago in a region with no direct equivalent, and that requires real health data to deliver real value, it feels significant.
Who our first 1,000 are
Our first thousand patients span 22 nationalities, 18 to 78 in age, and both UAE nationals and the expatriate population that makes up the majority of Dubai's healthcare consumers. The largest single group is South Asian adults between 30 and 55 — a demographic with high healthcare engagement and a particularly painful experience of carrying paper records between providers.
What they've done
Between them, our first thousand patients have uploaded 4,200 health records, booked 830 appointments through the platform, shared 1,100 documents with providers and used the AI analysis feature 2,800 times. These are not passive sign-ups. They are active users who came to the platform with a specific need and found it met.
A message to all of them
If you're one of our first thousand patients: thank you. You took a chance on a platform that didn't have a track record, gave us your most sensitive data and told us honestly what worked and what didn't. Every product decision we make carries the weight of that trust. We intend to honour it.
