Forty clinics across Abu Dhabi and Dubai are now live on Looms. Together they manage over 180,000 patient records on the platform — a number that means Looms is now a meaningful part of the healthcare experience for a significant slice of the UAE population.
The geography of 40 clinics
The 40 clinics are split roughly 60/40 between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The largest cluster is in the Dubai Healthcare City free zone, where the concentration of specialist providers means patients often move between multiple Looms-connected clinics. This creates a particularly compelling experience: a patient referred from one clinic to another can share their records instantly, without any paperwork.
What's working well
The metric we track most closely at this stage is patient record engagement — are patients actually using their Looms account to access and share records, or are they signing up and forgetting about it? Among patients at 40-clinic network clinics, 68% have uploaded at least one record and 41% have actively shared a record with a provider. Both numbers are well above our initial benchmarks.
