A single lab result tells you whether a value is inside or outside the reference range today. A trend tells you whether it's been moving toward the boundary for six months — which is a clinically different and often more important piece of information. The Looms Lab Trends dashboard makes that trend visible.
What you can track
Any lab marker that appears in two or more of your uploaded blood panels is automatically graphed over time. Key markers — haemoglobin, HbA1c, total cholesterol, LDL, creatinine, TSH and more — are highlighted with clinical context explaining what directional change means for your health.
Reference range lines are overlaid on each chart, so you can see not just where your value is today but how close to the boundary it has been over time.
AI interpretation of trends
Where a trend shows a consistent directional movement — rising LDL over 18 months, gradually declining haemoglobin — the AI provides a brief clinical interpretation of what that pattern typically suggests and whether it warrants a discussion with your doctor at your next appointment.
Sharing with your doctor
The Lab Trends view can be shared as a time-stamped PDF, suitable for bringing to a review appointment. Many patients find it a more useful way to present their history than a stack of individual results.
