Understanding your overall health is harder than understanding any single metric. Blood pressure might be well-controlled, but if medication adherence is poor, cholesterol is trending upward and a cancer screening is two years overdue, the overall picture is not as good as that single controlled number suggests. The Looms Health Score distils all of that into a single, honest number.

How the score is calculated

The Health Score is calculated from six categories, each scored between 0 and 100 and weighted by clinical significance for your specific health profile. The six categories are vitals stability, medication adherence, preventive care currency, lab result trends, chronic condition management and health goal progress.

A patient with no chronic conditions and up-to-date preventive screenings can score in the 80–90 range even without using the medication or condition management features.

What the score is not

The Health Score is not a diagnostic tool. A score of 60 does not mean you are sick, and a score of 90 does not mean you are guaranteed to stay healthy. It is a structured summary of the health data that exists in your account — its accuracy depends on the completeness of your records.

Improving your score

The Health Score page shows which categories are pulling your score down and provides specific, actionable suggestions for each. In most cases, the biggest improvements come from completing overdue preventive screenings, improving medication adherence and keeping your vitals logs current.
