Wearable devices generate a remarkable amount of health data — steps, heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen, sometimes even ECG readings. But most of that data sits in proprietary apps, disconnected from your clinical records. Looms now bridges that gap, allowing supported wearable devices to feed their readings directly into your health profile.

Supported devices at launch

At launch, Looms supports Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin and Samsung Galaxy Watch, with Withings smart scales and blood pressure monitors also included. Data from connected devices is categorised separately from clinically measured vitals, with a 'Connected device' badge distinguishing device readings from point-of-care measurements.

What gets synced

Step count, active energy, resting heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, sleep duration and sleep quality scores are synced daily. Continuous heart rate data and ECG readings, where available from the device, are imported as summary metrics.

  • Daily step count and active energy
  • Resting and peak heart rate
  • Blood oxygen saturation
  • Sleep duration and quality metrics
  • Body weight (if using a connected smart scale)

Privacy

Device data is treated with the same privacy controls as clinical records. Only you and healthcare providers you explicitly authorise can see your wearable data. Device connection can be disconnected at any time from your account settings.
