The data in your Looms account — records, vitals, medications, lab results — tells a story about your health. Until now, reading that story required a trained clinician. AI Health Insights is designed to make that story legible to you — without replacing the clinical judgment that interprets it in the context of your specific situation.
How insights are generated
The AI analyses patterns across all categories of health data in your account. It is looking for four types of pattern: trends (a value moving consistently in one direction), gaps (a recommended screening or check-up that appears overdue), correlations (a change in one value that coincides with a change in another) and anomalies (a single value that is significantly outside your personal historical range).
How insights are presented
Insights appear in a dedicated section of your health profile, organised by urgency and by body system. Each insight includes a plain-language explanation of the pattern identified, the data it is based on and a suggested action — typically 'discuss with your doctor at your next appointment' or 'consider booking a specific test or consultation'.
What AI insights cannot do
AI insights cannot diagnose conditions, recommend specific treatments or replace a clinical assessment. Every insight includes an explicit statement to this effect. The system is calibrated to surface observations that are worth discussing — not to alarm or reassure without clinical context.
