Revoking access or unfollowing a clinic on Looms immediately changes what that clinic can do in your account. This article explains precisely what stops, what persists, and how to verify the change.
What stops immediately
- The clinic can no longer create new appointments for you
- The clinic can no longer send you new care messages or open new threads
- The clinic can no longer issue new prescriptions, lab results, or medical reports to your account
- The clinic can no longer assign new care plans to you
What stays in your record
Revoking access does not delete documents the clinic has already issued to you. Prescriptions, lab results, radiology reports, and medical records issued by that clinic before you unfollowed them remain in your Looms account and are yours to keep, share, or delete.
Past appointment history also remains visible in your timeline. Revoking access is prospective — it stops future interactions, not historical records.
Revoking a share link
Unfollowing a clinic is different from revoking a share link. If you shared specific records with a clinic via a share link, go to the Records section, find the shared item, and revoke the link separately. Unfollowing the clinic does not automatically invalidate share links you created.
How to unfollow a clinic
- Open the clinic's profile from your followed centers list or from a previous appointment
- Tap **Unfollow**
- Confirm the action
Re-following a clinic later
You can follow a clinic again at any time. Re-following restores the clinic's ability to interact with you through Looms. Any documents issued before the unfollow are already in your record and are not re-synced.
