Looms stores the health data you provide and generates, along with the account and platform data needed to run the service. Here's a clear breakdown.

Health data

  • Records you upload — documents stored as encrypted files linked to your account
  • Records issued by centres — same encrypted storage
  • Vitals log entries — blood pressure, weight, heart rate, glucose and other logged readings
  • Medications and prescriptions — your medication list and prescription history
  • Symptoms and timeline entries — self-logged health events
  • Lab results and insights — structured result data from uploads or centre issuance

Account data

  • Name, date of birth, contact details
  • Health profile — blood type, allergies, emergency contact
  • Authentication records — hashed password, session tokens (no plain-text password is ever stored)
  • Activity logs — what actions were taken on your account and when
  • Notification preferences and settings

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, health records and personal data are purged within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate data may be retained for platform improvement but cannot be linked back to you. Full details are in the Looms Privacy Policy.
