Documents issued through Looms carry a unique QR code. Scanning it, or entering the token on the Verify page, confirms the document is genuine and shows its key details.

Verify a document

  • Open the Verify page
  • Scan the QR code with your camera, or paste the token manually
  • Review the confirmed details — issuer, date and document type

What verification proves

Verification confirms that the document was genuinely issued through Looms by a verified provider, and that it hasn't been altered since it was created. It doesn't reveal the patient's full health record — only the details relevant to that specific document.

If a document fails verification

A failed verification means the document wasn't issued through Looms, has been tampered with, or the token has expired. If you receive a document that fails verification and the issuer claims it's genuine, contact the issuing organization directly.
