Global search in Looms lets you find anything across your account — a specific record, a lab result, an appointment, a prescription — without knowing which section it lives in. Notifications keep you updated when something changes, such as a new record issued by a clinic or an upcoming appointment reminder.
Using global search
- Click the search bar at the top of any page, or press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on Mac)
- Type a keyword — a test name, a clinic, a date, or a document type
- Results appear instantly across records, appointments, lab results and prescriptions
- Click any result to jump straight to that item
Notification types
- New record issued — a connected medical center has added a document to your account
- Appointment reminders — upcoming appointments one day and one hour before
- Lab result received — a new lab result has been issued to you
- Prescription issued — a new prescription has been added
- Screening reminder — a preventive care check-up is due based on your profile
Managing notification preferences
You can turn individual notification types on or off in Settings under Notifications. Email and in-app notifications can be controlled separately. Changes take effect immediately.
