Resting heart rate (RHR) in your Looms vitals journal is logged manually or synced from a connected wearable. The trend chart plots each reading over time, which is where the real value lies.
What the trend chart shows
The chart displays each logged reading as a point on a timeline, with a reference band showing the normal range (60–100 bpm). The 7-day and 30-day moving averages help smooth out day-to-day variation so you can see the underlying direction. A trend consistently above 80 bpm at rest may warrant a conversation with your GP.
Logging a reading manually
- Open Vitals Journal → + New reading → Heart rate
- Enter the bpm value and date
- For an accurate resting reading, measure first thing in the morning before getting out of bed
Syncing from a wearable
If you have a connected fitness tracker or smartwatch, heart rate data may sync automatically depending on the integration. Go to Settings → Connected devices to see what's connected and configure sync preferences.
