Looms sends several types of notifications to keep you informed and on track. Here's an overview of each type and how to control them.
Types of notifications
- Medication reminders — timed alerts for each dose in your prescription schedule
- Appointment reminders — 24-hour and 1-hour reminders before scheduled visits
- Lab findings — alerts when a connected centre uploads a result flagged as abnormal or critical
- Shared records — notifications when a centre issues a document to your account
- Screening reminders — prompts for upcoming preventive tests based on your health goals
- Emergency card scans — if someone scans your emergency QR code, you're notified
How to adjust your preferences
Open Settings → Notifications to see each category. You can toggle individual categories on or off, and set quiet hours during which non-urgent notifications are delayed until morning. Critical safety alerts (such as abnormal lab results) cannot be suppressed during quiet hours.
