Staying well-hydrated supports kidney function, concentration and general wellbeing. Looms lets you set a daily water intake goal and log your consumption throughout the day.
Setting a hydration goal
- Open Health Goals → Hydration goal
- Enter your daily target in ml or glasses (you can toggle units)
- The general recommendation is 2–3 litres of fluid per day, but this varies with climate, activity level and body size
- Save — the goal appears as a target on your hydration log
Logging water intake
Open Vitals Journal → + New reading → Hydration. Enter the amount consumed. You can add multiple entries throughout the day — Looms totals them for the day and shows your progress towards the goal.
Signs of good hydration
The simplest indicator is urine colour — pale straw yellow indicates good hydration; dark amber suggests you need more fluid. Headaches, low energy and difficulty concentrating in the afternoon are common early signs of mild dehydration.
