Sharing a record in Looms creates a secure link that gives the recipient read-only access to that document. The link expires automatically and can be revoked at any time. The person you share with doesn't need a Looms account.

How to share a record

  • Open My Records and select the records you want to share
  • Click Share and choose how long the link should be valid (24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days)
  • Copy the generated link and send it to your provider however you prefer — email, message or even print it as a QR code
  • The recipient opens the link and sees the document in a read-only view

Managing active share links

You can view and revoke any active share link from the Records page. Tap the Share icon next to any record to see who it's been shared with and when each link expires. Revoking a link immediately blocks access, even if it hasn't expired yet.

What the recipient sees

The recipient sees the document and its basic metadata — title, type and date — but not your full health profile or any other records. Each shared view is isolated.
