An emergency contact is the person medical staff will contact if you're incapacitated and unable to communicate. Adding this to your Looms profile means it's immediately available to any connected centre.
How to add an emergency contact
- Open Settings → Profile
- Scroll to Emergency contact
- Enter the contact's full name and phone number
- Optionally add their relationship to you and a second contact number
- Save
Emergency contact on your Emergency Card
Your emergency contact details appear on your Emergency Card — the shareable medical summary accessible via QR code. Anyone who scans your Emergency Card can see your blood type, allergies, diagnoses and emergency contact number without needing a Looms account.
For family members managed in your hub, add their emergency contact separately in their individual profile settings.
