Setting a weight goal in Looms creates a target to track your progress against over time, combining your logged weigh-ins with a goal line on the chart.
How to set a weight goal
- Open Health Goals from the sidebar
- Tap Weight goal
- Enter your current weight (if not already set in your profile) and your target weight
- Choose a target date — optional, but helpful for pacing
- Save — the goal line appears on your weight trend chart in the Vitals Journal
Logging weigh-ins
Open Vitals Journal → + New reading → Weight and enter your reading. Looms supports both kg and lb — set your preferred unit in Settings → Profile. For consistency, weigh yourself at the same time of day (morning, before eating) and on the same surface.
Important note
Looms displays your BMI alongside weight data as an informational figure. BMI is a population-level metric and doesn't account for muscle mass, age or body composition. Use it as one data point, not a definitive health measure.
