Any record in Looms can be printed or downloaded as a PDF — useful for bringing to an appointment, sending to an insurer, or keeping an offline backup.
How to print a record
- Open the record from My Records, Radiology, Lab Results or any other section
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner of the record detail
- Select Print
- A clean print view opens — without the app navigation chrome — formatted to fit an A4 sheet
- Use your browser's print dialog to send to a printer or save as PDF
How to download a PDF
- Open the record detail page
- Tap the three-dot menu and select Download as PDF
- The file is saved to your device's Downloads folder
- On mobile, check your Files app or browser Downloads after the download completes
Printing a QR-verified document
Clinic-issued documents — lab results, prescriptions, sick leave notes — include a QR code and verification badge on the printed version. This allows anyone who receives the printed document to scan the QR code and confirm it is authentic.
Self-uploaded documents do not carry a verification badge or QR code on print.
Printing multiple records at once
To create a PDF of several records for an appointment or insurance claim, use the Share feature to generate a share link, then open the shared view and print from there. This creates a single printable summary of the records you've selected. For more on sharing options, see sharing your records.
