You can request full deletion of your Looms account and all associated data at any time. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Before you delete
Download an export of your data first — once the account is deleted, your records cannot be recovered. Go to Settings → Privacy → Export my data and wait for the export to complete before proceeding.
How to delete your account
- Open Settings → Privacy
- Scroll to Delete account
- Read the confirmation — this lists what will be permanently removed
- Tap Delete my account
- Enter your password to confirm
- Your account is immediately deactivated; data is purged within 30 days
What gets deleted
- All health records, vitals, medications and lab results
- Your health profile and personal information
- All appointment history and messages with connected centres
- Your emergency card and all shared links
- Authentication data
What is retained
Centre-issued documents that have been verified may be retained in the issuing centre's records as required by their clinical governance obligations — but they will no longer be linked to or accessible through your Looms account.
