Looms automatically sends reminders before each scheduled appointment so you can prepare and arrive on time.
Default reminder timing
- 24 hours before — a summary notification with the centre name, time and location
- 1 hour before — a final prompt, particularly useful for same-day appointments
- Appointment Prep prompt — sent 48 hours before, inviting you to prepare notes and review relevant records
Adjusting reminder preferences
Go to Settings → Notifications → Appointment reminders to toggle each type on or off and adjust timing. You can disable the 1-hour reminder if it's disruptive, or add a 2-hour reminder if you need more preparation time. Quiet hours settings apply to appointment reminders — an appointment that falls during your quiet hours window will have its reminder sent at the start of the next active period.
