Your data belongs to you. Looms lets you export a complete copy at any time, or permanently delete your account if you decide to leave.
Exporting your data
- Open Settings and scroll to the Data & Account section
- Tap Request data export
- A download link is sent to your registered email address within a few minutes
- The export is a ZIP file containing your records, lab results, prescriptions, vitals logs, appointments and profile
- Download links expire after 24 hours for security — request a new one if needed
Deleting your account
- Open Settings and scroll to the Data & Account section
- Tap Delete account
- Read the confirmation screen — deletion is permanent and irreversible
- Type your email address to confirm, then tap Delete permanently
- Your account and all associated data are removed within 30 days
What happens to documents issued by medical centers
Clinic-issued documents (prescriptions, reports, radiology images) that were issued into your account are permanently removed when you delete your account. The issuing center retains their own copy per their clinical records policy — Looms' copy is removed.
Shared links after account deletion
Any active share links stop working as soon as your account is deleted. Revoke them manually before deleting if you want to confirm that all access has been closed.
